What if you allowed yourself to want what you want?

Go ahead - say it!

Go ahead - say it!

I am a coach AND I have a coach.  I LOVE my coach, as she helped me learn things about myself that I am convinced I would not have learned on my own.  One of the things that makes my coach brilliant are the sound bytes she gives to me. I want to share one of those sound bytes with you ... and an accompanying quote that I ran across in a drawer I was cleaning out today. I don't think it's a coincidence that both of these thoughts crawled into my consciousness on the same day.  I believe that I needed to be reminded, and I believe that at least one of you needs to read this (maybe more than one of you) ... MANTRA

I get to want what I want (pause and want)

I get to ask for what I want (pause and ask)

I am willing to negotiate the difference (remember that you will likely get closer to what you want than if you had remained silent)

If you limit your choices to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise.
— Robert Fritz

PQ (powerful question):

What happens if you use this mantra for a day?

or a week?

What will you speak that would have previously gone unspoken?

What will you get that previously would have gone unsatisfied?

What did you learn about meeting someone part way?
